NINE MONTHS
This little stinker is 9 months old. He's a momma's boy and I'm loving it. He has really taken off in the past few weeks. He's crawling everywhere and pulls up and walks along tables and furniture. He lets go and stands for a few seconds alone, but then falls on his butt when he realizes it. He's so much fun to be around because he can learn new tricks. He can wave bye bye, when I ask how big is Sol he puts his arms in the air, and he can cough on command. He must be a genius! . We're working on "how do you blow your nose in the woods?" That's Pa's big trick. He dances to music by bending his knees and bouncing, but I'm trying to teach him to bite his lip at the same time so he can dance like a real white boy. He can throw a ball and loves to play with the dogs and the dogs love him. Even Tipper loves him. No "ma ma or da da" just squealing and "hi." He grunts to where he wants to go and that's working just fine for him.
Favorite song: I can show you the world
Favorite toy: cell phone
Favorite activity: bath
Favorite book: Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown
Sleep, well we're working on it. Last weekend we left him for the first time overnight with mom and dad. When I asked mom how it went she reported, "bad." She still loves him though. At 3 am dad went to the other room. She said he would wake up every hour wanting titty and she would give him a bottle of water and 15 minutes later he would go back to sleep. This lasted all night long until Barney came on and he watched that and fell asleep a few hours. So we haven't given him titty any more at night. I pump and give him that bottle if he is hungry otherwise we give him a bottle of water. He slept from 7:30 until 3 am 2 nights ago, and we were happy, but last night we regressed a little. We'll get there, someday.
At his nine month doctor's visit he grew 3 inches in length, not head circumference, and gained one pound from his 6 mo. visit. He's heading towards normal on weight and off the charts on height. We hope he's as big as poppy so he can carry out Neall's dream of being in the NBA. But if he wants to be on Design Star we will support him.
Let us not forget the fits. Sol ducks his head down and sobs when a toy is taken away. Mrs.Linda just laughs and shakes her head at the thought of him as a two year old.
This was naked day. Sol wore only his diaper all day. Even Mrs. Linda went along with it. We ended the day by swimming in the pool naked. (just Sol)
Sol loves Granny and Poppy. He's started this smile where he tilts his head back and squinches his nose up, we think it's really cute and funny.
Emmy stayed with us for a few nights. We had fun at the park. She is so sweet. She shared her drink with Solomon. We left when he got tired.
BLUE STEEL
Sol's new look. "I'm not a mermaid, I'm a Merbaby."
Neall's family from OHIO stayed at Village Creek for a few days. That's a long drive for them to make and it was good to see some of Neall's family. Some of them want to move to Wynne. We must of put on our good behavior.

MARGARET GRACE MEYER
Ben and Mary-Margaret brought to the world the most precious little baby girl on June 5, 2008. She is just perfect. She has a precious little face and we can already see her bouncing around with a head full of black curls! We think that she'll be called Maggie Meyer. I love her name. I think it is going to fit her perfectly. Maggie is doing great. She is eating well and sleeping well. Mom is doing great and is so relaxed and natural. I only wish I could see them every day.

Sunset Symphony
This is grammy's method of putting sol in the sleeper hold, Sol won this fight.
where's daddy?
There he is!
These are some fun pics from the Sunset Symphony a few weeks ago. I just wanted to share because it was such a fun time. The air show was before the symphony. Neall kept Solomon content with his favorite game of peek-a-boo.
Evan and sol after a fun night. (Sol looks more and more like his mom!)
